This was a good day! No more walking to university or city centrum... I bought a BIKE! Finally! The day before, Jose, a spanish guy that is living with Diogo (portuguese guy that came with me to the Erasmus Program), said that there was an old man that sold 2nd hand things (including bikes) and that he has bought his from there!
So I and Diogo went to this old man antiques shop!
Well some parts were missing from my bike, like the front lamp and chain to lock it, so, in the afternoon we went to buy these parts.
When we were shopping we met a very nice woman that spoke portuguese, although she was american. She is married to a brazilian man and so we started talking... At the end we helped her carrying same things to her home and met her son... OH! she thank us by giving some homemade cookies!!! They were GREAT!
Tuesday
Was a normal school day, morning and afternoon. Me and Diogo had an assignment to deliver so the rest of the day was for that!
First time I ate in the university! It was pretty nice since we found a place that they didn't fried everything!
Wednesday
It started with a lesson of enterprise ontology in the morning!
After that went to home and have lunch! At the afternoon we went to the university to collect our StudentenBox (it is a kind of marketing to some products) and it add pretty good stuff. (see this for more info)
Well I came back to home and had to fix my bike and put the lights and everything. It kind take me a while so I was late for the dinner with my group (the exchange students are divided into groups and have mentors to guide them). When I and Diogo arrived the place there was NO FOOD! so we kinda had to wait. So we played chess (there were missing pieces as you see in the next photos).
A device that made people fall from 55m (only screams)...
... to one other that get people spinning at a crazy rate!
A normal day! Wake up late and go to the supermarket! After lunch I went to the university to discuss the assignment we delivered on tuesday!
Afterwards I infiltrated on Diogo's mentor meeting and we had a good time!
Now I was hoping i could see Napoli-Benfica on the internet but...

The old man spoke english very well and after seeing his shop we came out of there with two bikes for 100€ (they were in good shape).

After that we were planning to go to this normal wednesday exchange students party at the "de Ruif" but it was boring as you can see in the next picture.

Are those TUC crackers?? Man, I haven't seen that flavour around here! I always thought that the bacon flavoured ones were the most addictive...
Give me your opinion on that subject later, willya?
And i see you'll be improving your mechanical skills now that you've got a bike! Maybe you can help me tune the brakes of my own when you get back!
And the name of your mentor... Oh man, MAD?? Reminds me of Inspector Gadget xD
And riding a sort of merry-go-round stoned must be a very very rotative experience man... o_O
Well man, keep posting 'cause I love seeing more about your life there.
Abraço man!
